This is a mid-level billing position. Assists Team Lead with all aspects of medical billing for clients.

Duties: |
- Appealing denied claims both in writing and by telephone.
- Process batches to balance and close.
- Communicate with various payers by telephone to get status of claims.
- Assist team lead with additional medical billing tasks as requested.

Qualifications: |
- HS diploma/GED
- One year prior medical billing experience, behavioral health and/or Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) experience ideal.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Detail oriented
