Description: |
Valley Radiologists is looking for an entry-level mailroom, office assistant. Ideal candidates would have prior experience working in a business office. Applicants must have an eye for detail, ability to meet deadlines consistently and a great attendance record.
Other details of position:
· Part time days Monday – Friday; 25 – 30 hrs (flexible between 8am – 5pm)
· Occasional evening and weekend work may be required to a maximum of 35 hrs
· Starting pay – entry level to start

Duties: |
Responsibilities include:
· Process and disperse incoming mail
· Prepare and process outgoing mail
· Daily post office and/ or bank runs
· Prepare checks for deposit
· Manage/ distribute faxes – outgoing and incoming
· Communicate with Mailroom Supervisor regarding what work is outstanding
· Process address corrections and mail returns from the post office
· Complete all assignments daily or by deadline given
· Assist with scanning
· Pull EOBs and collate with HCFA 1500 forms
· Pull backup for accounts with credit balance for refund department
· Assist with filing payment records
· Able to follow direction with limited supervision
· Assist with miscellaneous duties as they arise
· Available to cover receptionist duties at offsite location
· Notify Privacy Officer of any breach in security or leak of PHI or ePHI.
· Participate in all compliance and HIPAA training opportunities.
· Maintain strictest confidentiality

Qualifications: |
· Must have strong organizational skills and a high degree of accuracy
· Must be able to meet deadlines consistently
· Must have a great attendance record
· HS degree or GED
· Continuing education or coding/billing certifications would be a plus
· Professional disposition and conduct
· Prior experience in a business office, preferably one year minimum, would be ideal
· Personal automobile, insured with minimum of $300,000 bodily injury and $50,000 property damage
