Duties: |
The duties for this ophthalmic technician will be to assist in the treatment and care of patients by performing a variety of technical duties. Obtain medical history of patients. Test occular functions including auto refraction, retinoscopy, and lensometry. Fit all types of contact lenses using keratometer. Assist in minor office surgery. Administer eye medications as directed. Maintain inventory of supplies, medications, and instruments. Maintain ophthalmic instruments. Experience in lensometry, retinoscopy, corneal topography, and keratometry preferred.
