At this time MEDSupport Inc is seeking a Client Relations Specialist (CRS) to address and monitor client needs. Candidates must be able to demonstrate success in account management and business development. Candidates must possess a solid background in many aspects of physician revenue cycle management. This position will manage the business relationship with clients to ensure appropriate services are available and utilized to provide the highest level of customer service and maximize client revenues. |
Duties: |
This position is responsible for managing all aspects of the business relationship with the customer. Ensure that all appropriate resources are available and utilized effectively/efficiently to maximize overall business management services. Develops and maintains positive client relations and coordinates with various functions within the company to ensure client requests are handled appropriately (i.e. within time and budget). This position has authority to substantially affect the relationship between the company and a client, either from a financial or services/product standpoint. Position monitors/audits financial, reimbursement and information management services and is responsible for analyzing the billing effectiveness/cash flow and making recommendations to increase productivity and profitability. Utilize their knowledge of the client/business, healthcare practice management and medical billing process/procedures to maximize performance relative to client relationship, client satisfaction, desired survey results and client/company financial performance indicators.
Further more, the CRS will ensure their assigned clients are satisfied with service they have acquired and will answer client questions, assess service problems, and resolve issues in a variety of ways using their best judgment to ensure client satisfaction. The CSR will also identify sales opportunities for current and potential clients, and sell the product or service or forward the information to a sales representative. The CRS will be responsible for aligning the business processes of MSI with the various clients assigned to the CRS. The CSR will assist in improving relations between MSI and Client. The CSR will identify client needs and translate them into business opportunities that will provide increased profitability per client. This position will assist in new client implementations and other client support activities and provide liaison for Client with all internal departments. The CSR will conduct field meetings with assigned clients.
Other responsibilities will include: gathering of data, preparing financial analysis and studies of financial reports, fee schedules, payer trends and A/R metrics. |
Qualifications: |
| Key Experience, Knowledge and Skills Required:
Must have proven record of success in both client management & new business development.
The individual should have strong skills with respect to spreadsheet applications, information systems, financial and conceptual analysis, and written and oral communications.
Must have strong negotiation, marketing, and promotional skills.
Must be familiar with healthcare A/R revenue cycle management and what is required to attain optimal collection performance standards.
Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
Ability to manage multiple priorities.
Must have at least 5 years of applicable work experience in professional / healthcare environment.
BA/BS degree in a business discipline is required. |
