Description:

MEDRIUM, INC. is looking for a Client Advocate to join our team. This individual will act as formal liaison between Medrium transactional departments and Client Account Representative(s) to ensure superior customer service and operational performance. Medrium provides hospital-based specialists and medical practices with web-based billing solutions that optimize and expedite reimbursement. Visit us at www.medrium.com

Duties:

Essential job functions: Maintain regular communication with designated Client Representative to ensure that contractually defined quality of service and expectations of Client are being met. -- Monitor all aspects of Medrium transactional operations that affect the Client’s reimbursement and work with operational department manager to resolve any issues that have a negative impact on the quality of service. -- Review all Client reports prior to distribution, including weekly Billing and Charges report, Patient Aging report, Collections reports, Write-off reports, and any other regular or custom reports provided to Client. -- Work with Client Representative to uncover any changes or standard operating procedures that might inhibit Medrium’s ability to provide high quality service or may negatively impact Client’s reimbursement. -- Conduct annual review of financial performance, write-off rules and special procedures provided for client with Client and Director of Operations

Qualifications:

This position requires high school graduation, 3-5 years experience in claims submission processing and billing, and prior experience in account management.-- Other skills: Knowledge of medical terminology, Understanding of medical practice management, Understanding of medical billing, Strong oral and written communication skills, Proficient with internet browsers, (preferably Mozilla Firefox or Internet Explorer), email applications (Mozilla Thunderbird or Microsoft Outlook), Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word-- Other requirements: Travel off-site to meet with Client as needed, Present a professional image to Client at all times, Perform independently, demonstrating sound analysis, Reliably follow-up on late tasks and outstanding issues
