Immediate Hire For Nurse Practitioners & Physician Assistants

 

 

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Pro Health Partners /Argus Medical Management provides all Management Services critical to running a successful medical practice allowing our physician clients to focus on the practice of medicine. We are currently seeking  experienced  Nurse Practitioner/ Physician Assistant's to work full time or part time with a Board Certified Physicians. Candidates will work in a physician practice office setting. Applicants should possess all appropriate licensure and credentialing as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills. Qualified applicants must have a minimum of 1year of  recent experience as a NP or PA.

 

  • Our nurse practitioners will be required to have ability to utilize technology to perform duties, this includes but is not limited to providing diagnosis and prescribing the appropriate treatment to clients, educating clients on preventative measures, and engaging clients in a manner that is empathetic and supportive.
  • Must be able to work autonomously and efficiently but maintain a close relationship with other team members.
  • Keep up-to-date with the issues related to the target population, including but not limited to current literature, treatment options and other available resources.
  • Must be able to work with diverse populations.

QUALIFICATIONS: 

Education:  Medical degree from an accredited medical school

Certification/Licensure: The following must be active and in good standing

  1. State of California PA or RN License
  2. Active PA or NP Certification
  3. NPI number (if applicable)
  4. Current DEA/Furnishing number

 

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Internal Medicine & Family Practice experience is a plus
  • Bilingual in Spanish is plus
  • Knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with Electronic Medical/Health Record (EMR/EHR)
  • Service: Capable of providing excellent service in a friendly and approachable demeanor, resolving client concerns, and understanding quality client service tenets.
  • Age and Cultural Specific Care: Able to adjust treatment, instruction, and education to meet the patient's age and cultural background
  • Verbal Communication: Capable of interacting with, and relating to, people of varying backgrounds, relaying information clearly and succinctly, applying active listening, empathy, and confidentiality.
  • Decision Making: Analyzing information provided by client and evaluating viable treatment options to provide the best solution and resolve client concerns.
  • Computer Proficiency: Able to learn and become proficient in required software as well as have basic knowledge of Microsoft applications, i.e. Word, Excel, and demonstrate keyboarding speed and accuracy, minimum 30 wpm.
